How To Roll Your Maps Quickly And Efficiently? - Tips & Strategies

Jan 15 ,2024

Unless you’re crafting or flipping, chances are you’re not making any money set in your hideout. Therefore, to make more POE Currency in POE 3.23, we need to spend less time in the hideout. We’re going to do that by spending more time in our hideout straight away. But before you think I’m completely insane, just hold that thought.

How To Roll Your Maps Quickly And Efficiently? - Tips & Strategies

Tips

One of the big problems I have is that it’s very easy for us to get distracted and forget what we were doing.

So, we’ll finish a map, go back to our hideout, start crafting the next map for our mission, get distracted by someone on Discord, or just forget what we were doing. We’ll end up sitting in our hideout probably way longer than we ought to.

It also turns out that humans are really good at doing things they’ve done lots of times before, especially recently. Point in case: you’re really good at killing those mobs that you’ve been killing all day. You’re also really good at browsing your inventory, looking for things to craft your maps with. Now, this ability to repeat things over and over again and sort of become laser-focused on it is something we want to take advantage of.

One of the reasons I like to run Delve is that it’s great for leveling. That’s because there are lots of areas linked together where we don’t actually have to leave the area and we’re forced into the next one, so we don’t just waste our time. What I’m about to talk about now allows us to do that in maps.

So, I want you to stop the mentality of just grabbing 1 or 2 maps out of your stash tab each time you finish one and crafting them up, especially if you’re trying to run a currency strategy.

What I want you to do is craft your maps on mass. I’m running the Abyssal strategy from CrouchingTuna, and it’s very good. But it requires that on our maps, we have monsters with +2 projectiles. There are also lots of map mods that my character can’t run being Tornado Shot. It’ll just get one-shot repeatedly if it has them. Checking these maps one by one is very slow to do.

Strategies

To help you with this, introducing Poe.re, short for PoE regular expressions. For those of you who don’t know, a regular expression is a way in computers of pattern matching for strings, so finding patterns in text.

If we switch over to map modifiers on the left-hand tab, you now have the option of selecting multiple map modifiers that you want on your map and those that you don’t. On the right-hand side, we’re going to pick out monsters, fire, 2 additional projectiles because we want that.

We’re then going to run down the left-hand side and exclude anything that’s really bad for our build. When we’re done, we’ll have a string. We can click the copy button to copy it, and then I store mine in Notepad so we can get back to it later without having to reselect everything.

We’re now going to grab a load of maps that we want to craft and put them in a stash tab. We then, in the search bar below the stash tab, are going to paste our regular expression. You’ll now notice that pretty much all the maps have turned gray. Any that aren’t gray already have the mods that you want.

And what this allows us to do is now use Scouring Orbs and Alchemy Orbs, or if you want super efficiency, Chaos Orbs, to craft the maps. The moment they light up and have the rolls we need, we can move them to the other side of the tab. Then, we’re going to rinse and repeat this until every single map has the roles that we want.

This, in combination with a really strong loot filter, will allow us to basically do what we do in Delve and just re-enter maps the moment we leave because we can already have a set of maps in our tabs ready to go.

I tend to put 3 in my inventory and use the extra space given by this league’s extra bag space. This means that literally the moment I finish a map, I can start the next one. No more procrastinating. Once I’ve used my 3, I go back to my stash, grab another 3, and I’m straight going again.

It’s efficiencies like this that will turn you from a standard player through a game god, able to siphon currency from the air.

Do This Particular League Mechanic During The Campaign In POE 3.23!

Dec 26 ,2023

Path of Exile is known as a min maxer’s paradise with a skill tree that looks like the synapses of a human brain to the completely customizable skill gem combinations and craft system. There’s a ton that you can do in this game to create the exact kind of character you want to play.

Do This Particular League Mechanic During The Campaign In POE 3.23!

Intro

Due to the collaborative nature of the POE community, players usually find an optimal way to do most things in the game.

From leveling to crafting to making POE Currency, there’s usually a guide or a content creator that will provide you with the perfect setup to get you rolling and get the result that you want to see.

With Path of Exile going on its 10th year being released, the code for leveling and progressing through the campaign has pretty much been cracked. From leveling uniques like to Tabula Rasa and Seven-League Step to entire leveling builds like Hollow Palm, there’s an efficient and optimal way to level your character through the campaign.

The general rule of thumb while leveling is to skip all the league mechanics and quests that don’t give you skill points and just progress through the main story to get to maps as quickly as possible. I believe the POE 3.23 Affliction League changed this, at least when it comes to the league mechanics.

Affliction League Mechanic

The league mechanic is pretty simple: enter the hole in the ground and collect the different colors of wisps that will give you different things.

Vivid or yellow gives you item quantity bonus, Wild or purple gives you item rarity bonus, and Primal or blue gives you currency bonus

Also, once you complete the encounter, the Wisps that you encounter will be released into the map and also grant those bonuses to random monsters or bosses. So, how does this help you with leveling and getting to maps quicker? Well, it doesn’t, really.

Asmir Wanderers

But what does help is the second part of the POE 3.23 Affliction League, which is the Asmir Wanderers.

There are 3 Asmir Wanderers, which all have 3 unique quests that you can complete to get your Wildwood ascendancy. The Asmir Wanderers also provide POE Items like tinctures, charms, and special corpses that can be reanimated with Raise Spectre

The first time you encounter one of the Asmir Wanderers, you can choose a Wildwood ascendancy and get 2 points to allocate for that ascendancy. You can encounter the Asmir Wanderers pretty early in the game as well.

I ran into the Breaker of Oaths in Act 2 at level 18, and I was able to get my Wildwood ascendancy a full 15 levels before I can get my actual class ascendancy. This is a huge buff and significantly helps with clearing the campaign, especially if you’re on a fresh character and don’t have any leveling uniques.

I would recommend picking up the Warlock of Mists ascendancy from the Breaker of Oaths even if you don’t plan on using that ascendancy permanently. The ravenous skill provides a nice damage and defense buff against the monster types that you are fighting in the given area.

One More Thing

One thing I will say about the league mechanic is it can be a kind of rippy at times, so I would only do this at early levels or early parts of the campaign if you are able to do it quickly and effectively and you aren’t dying in the process.

I tried doing this on my Deadeye character, my first character that I tried rolling because I was going to be doing some group play that ended up falling through. But that’s neither here nor there. But, I was playing that character and I had a hard time clearing the league mechanic until really act for 5 whereas on my Guardian (my SRS Guardian), I clear it no problem.

So, only do it if you can do it easily and quickly. If it’s taking you too long or you’re dying, just wait until you get a bit more gear or a bit more levels on your skill gems and you can do it effectively.

Even though it might add a few extra minutes to clearing the area of the campaign, I recommend when you see a hole in the ground, jump into it. The extra ascendancies can really help with the early parts of the campaign before your build really starts to come online.

Closing Thoughts About POE 3.22 Blast From The Past Event

Nov 20 ,2023

As you know, the POE 3.22 Blast from the Past event ended. So, in this guide, I want to share about my experience playing in this event.

Closing Thoughts About POE 3.22 Blast From The Past Event

Build & Atlas

When we join these November events, we want to level up as fast as possible. To do this, we want to avoid dying at all costs because we will lose 5 times XP if we do.

So, I opted for a tanky build that didn’t require any mandatory gears. My choice was Ziz’s Explosive Arrows. I’m sure a lot of people played his build already, and I also heard a lot of good things about the build.

Unfortunately, I was more interested in trying other builds, so I was very late to the party. Anyway, I tried his build and I think it is an excellent choice for events like this.

Levelling was a little rough at first, but then became very smooth once I started using Explosive Arrows at level 28

In the endgame, I was able to summon a maximum of 5 totems, including 2 from multiple totems, 1 from Panopticon and another one from Ancestral Bond

Survivability was never an issue. I got a lot of life from the passive tree. I didn’t even get full spell suppression, but resist cap was enough to run all yellow maps comfortably. Bossing was alright, too.

The clear speed, however, was not that good. This is mostly because I didn’t use Greater Multiple Projectiles, also it was difficult to get Rain of Splinters in this one-week event.

But overall, I still enjoyed the build very much. Unfortunately, I only got to level 86 in this event because something urgent came up and I wasn’t able to play a lot this week. I was hoping to get to level 90 at least, but couldn’t quite make it.

In this event, I specced into Abyss and Breach. This was not the best farming strategy for this build but it allowed me to get as much xp as possible.

Increased pack size was very useful, not to mention that Abyss could give 50% increased xp for killing the monsters.

POE 3.22 Blast From The Past Event

Sentinel

I skipped Sentinel league back then. So, I was very excited when this event was announced.

Now, I can understand why people enjoyed this league very much. Sentinel was very simple and didn’t interrupt the players when running maps. You could deploy the Sentinels anytime you wanted, and they would follow you for a duration of time.

I was the red and blue gang. For the blue Sentinel, I liked to deploy it after opening strongboxes because it could empower multiple enemies in one shot.

Then, I killed the monsters and got my loot. It was very easy. As for the red Sentinel, I deployed it whenever I encountered a lot of blue packs. I think the best way to farm was probably to gather as many monsters as you could, deploy the blue Sentinel, kill all monsters empowered by it, then deploy the red Sentinel and kill the rest.

Kalandra

Kalandra, on the other hand, wasn’t new to me. I played a lot during that league. Kalandra was okay for me, but I would prefer to farm something else for POE Currency

The most valuable thing in Kalandra was the Reflection of Paradise. You basically hit the jackpot if you could get it. It functioned like Untainted Paradise where it could give you tons of xp for killing monsters, which was insane for levelling.

Overall, I enjoyed this event very much. I just wished that this event could be longer to play around more with recombinators.

All November Events In Path Of Exile 3.22 Explained

Nov 06 ,2023

Today, we’re going to provide an overview of the upcoming events in POE 3.22.

November Events Intro

In November, 3 Path of Exile events are on the horizon.

When strategizing these events, the goal was to cater to the diverse preferences of our player base. GGG team understand that some of you relish crafting unique character builds. Others seek added challenges and some simply crave the thrill of intense combat.

As a result, these events have been thoughtfully scheduled to avoid overlapping, allowing you the flexibility to participate in more than one should you choose. Your gaming experience is their priority.

However, if you want a better gaming experience, you’d better prepare enough POE Currency.

All November Events In Path Of Exile 3.22 Explained

Awards

By achieving level 50 in any two of the events, you will secure two guaranteed Ancestor Mystery Boxes for your account. In total, this amounts to two guaranteed mystery boxes distributed among all three events.

These events also feature an extensive array of microtransaction prizes, which will be randomly awarded to characters reaching specific level milestones.

Further details about these rewards will be elaborated upon shortly.

Krangled Passives

Beginning with the first event, Krangled Passive is set to commence on November 3rd.

In this event, the passive skill tree, along with all ascendancy trees, has been intentionally mixed up.

The distinctions between minor passive skills, notables, keystones, minor ascendancy skills, and major ascendancy skills have been interchanged within these categories, meaning that a notable passive skill remains a notable passive skill. But it’s now randomly assigned.

Additionally, all players will be working with identical skill trees, but the Scion character class is not accessible in this event.

The GGG team has introduced a range of additional POE Items for players based on their level achievements. The rewards become increasingly valuable as your character’s level rises. The top three players overall will receive a full microtransaction bundle.

POE 3.22 November Events

Blast From The Past

Next in line is Blast From The Past scheduled for November 10th.

Unleash the potential of the Sentinels and embark on an adventure into the enigmatic Kalandra Lake, the Blast From The Past event extends an invitation to rediscover past Path of Exile leagues or venture into them for the very first time if you happen to miss out on them.

During this event, nearly every corner of the Path of Exile world is infused with the mechanics of both Sentinels and Kalandra.

And remember, this event operates without the voided rules, ensuring you can fully enjoy crafting with recombinats.

The supplementary reward system closely resembles that of the previous event. Your chances of receiving relevant rewards increase as your character’s level rises.

Shifting Stones

The final event, Shifting Stones, is scheduled to commence on the 17th of November.

Have you ever dreamt of hosting 10 Tormented Spirits in the mud flats? In the Shifting Stones event, that dream becomes a reality.

In every area, you will encounter one of the following league mechanics, amplified by an Associated Atlas Keystone:

  • 10 Tormented Spirits with Speaker Of The Dead Keystone
  • Blight with Cassia’s Pride Keystone
  • Legion with Timeless Conflict Keystone
  • Delirium with Unending Nightmare Keystone
  • Beyond with Endless Tide Keystone

These mods will change every 15 minutes.

Wild Strike Melee Build for POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League

Sep 12 ,2023

Wild Strike is back folks! And it’s prettier than it’s ever been! So I’m gonna be sharing my thoughts, tips and instructions on how to execute this build now. Because it ain’t that simple to get started.

But if you’re beginner or poor in POE Currency, this might be a good build for you.Wild Strike Melee Build for POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League

How to Prepare?

So when I started this build switching from my other build in the same character, I was quite disappointed and sad the way how bad things were. Turns out I was wrong. Had to wait patiently to level my gems......

I bought a level 21 ice bite support and the rest of ma damage gems of level 20. Well, that changed the performance of the build entirely. And then, I made a couple of tweeks here and there trying out different POE Items

And finally, it turned out to be a great build, and that’s why I’m making this guide.

About the Build

So getting to the build, it’s cheap, and less than 15 Divine Orbs. But this one is exclusive only to this league. Unless we get the new items called Honoured Tattoo of the Barbarian back in a future expansion. It’s great for running a T16 Harvest, Legion, Ritual, Expedition and regular bossing.

It’s a budget melee build, so I wouldn’t warn you about these things unless it was a ranged character. Do not roll map modifiers such as chance to avoid elemental ailments, cannot leech, nor any sort of stuff like monster are crit resistant.

The worst of them are monsters steal power, frenzy and endurance charges. Because this build depends entirely on frenzy charges.

If you lose all your frenzy charges, you’ll be like an old doggo who lost his feet on his way back home. It ain’t that worse, but if your character dies, just use The writhing Jar Flask

When you kill 2 worms, you get at least 6 charges back. This is why we are grabbing this mastery instead of the regular damage mod. Unless you play it you won’t get it, numbers on PoB can be quite decievin in practice.

With the worst outta the way, let me tell you how strong it is. How many melee builds have you seen with fortify, arctic armour, tons of evasion, fully capped spell suppression, and 4 to 8% effect of sap? Were able to stand toe to toe with map bosses and pinnacle bosses coz of this.

With 15 Divine Orbs, I could make a spell based power charge stacker with way more damage with safer playstyle, or another boring totem build. But until GGG gives us that magical buff where you can actually bring a knife to a gunfight, this is as best it can get for true melee builds.

Another one of my budget builds like this is that Volcanic Fissure build with Vengeance Cascade

Another important thing to note in this build setup is that since we’re using Utula’s Hunger body armour, we can’t have any other life mods in our gear setup. You can grab life modifiers in your passive tree, but not in your jewels and gear slot, not even life leech mods.

The playstyle can be quite different for a lot of you. If you have ever played a Boneshatter build, it’s just like that.

While mapping, you gotta Leap Slam, then Frostblink, Blood Rage, then hit a few bad boys, then Leap Slam and Frostblink. It’s a fun playstyle to get used to.

Now, don’t set to always attack without moving. Because you don’t have much melee strike range on this one. When you face a bunch of bosses, put down your totems first, then Blood Rage and then start hitting. I would recommend moving a tile or 2 if you’re taking too much of damage.

The most annoying thing is the ground degens, especially from maven balls.

5 Excellent Beginner Friendly Builds For Path Of Exile 3.22

Aug 21 ,2023

If you’re a new player looking to dive into Path of Exile for the first time, here’s a list of five builds that’ll help you to have the best first possible experience in array class.

Even if you’re an experienced player, each of these builds is still a great option for league starters for POE 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors League.

5 Excellent Beginner Friendly Builds For Path Of Exile 3.22

1. Pohx’s Righteous Fire Inquisitor

First up, we have Righteous Fire.

This is the top of everyone’s list for a reason because it’s one of the top performing builds of all time and Pohx’s guide is hands down the most comprehensive guide without question.

The idea behind this build is that you cast your Righteous Fire, which is like a burning circle around you. You just run through monsters. They all explode and then when you get to a boss, throw some Fire Traps on it.

It’s very easy to play. Not only that, you don't need to spend a lot of POE Currency. It’s very tanky. And most importantly, it’s a lot of fun. It also doesn’t require much manual targeting except for when using your Fire Trap and it doesn’t use too many buttons.

If I could suggest only one build for a new player to start with, this would be it.

2. Aer0’s Ice Shot Deadeye

Next up, if you’re a new player who likes living out their bow wielding hero fantasy, aer0’s Ice Shot Deadeye has you covered.

This guide is very new player friendly. It includes a very comprehensive hand-holding written guide as well as a full leveling guide from one of the game’s best speedrunners Tytykiller.

Bow builds are genuinely one of the best most fun archetypes in Path of Exile. So, if you’re a new player or you want to play bows, give this one a shot.

3. Zizaran’s Explosive Arrow Champion

Now, if you’re looking for a more involved playstyle, Zizaran’s Explosive Arrow Ballista build is a very well-rounded tanky totem build, capable of completing all content in the game.

This build has a very smooth playstyle with very few downsides that many other builds face. As a new player, if you want to explore all aspects of Path of Exile comfortably without having to try multiple builds, this build can do it.

The full guide goes through all aspects of the build, so you’ll know how to play it as well as all of the mechanics that make this build function. The father building guide is also very thorough.

4. Anime Princess’s Spark Inquisitor

Now, for players wanting to enjoy a more spell-based gameplay, Anime Princess’s Spark Inquisitor has you covered.

The place out for this build is very easy on the hands. It requires no aiming, so you don’t need to click on any enemies to hit them. You just push the button, your spell flies out, and whatever’s there is gonna get hit.

The video guide is also very honest and very comprehensive with Anime Princess explaining all aspects of the build in great detail over this almost hour-long guide on the build.

So, if you want to take a deep dive into this spellcaster build, Anime princess has you covered in every regard.

5. Lolcohol’s Blade Vortex Pathfinder

Last but not least, I’m going to be recommending my own build Blade Vortex Pathfinder.

I’ve done everything I can to make this build guide as beginner friendly as possible. I’ve included a very detailed part of building that’ll carry you all the way from level one up until level 100 if you get that far. I’ve also included a spreadsheet that includes a leveling guide, showing you which gems to take after completing which quests, nodes explaining all the skills we use, the different mechanics of the build and what kind of POE Items we need to use. That little spreadsheet has everything.

This build is slightly more complex than the previous ones mentioned. But everything you need to know is in the guide. On top of all of that, I have included a full leveling playthrough of the build from Act 1 and all the way to maps.

How To Make Early Currency At The Start Of POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League? - My Plans

Aug 19 ,2023

I just want to quickly talk about how I’m planning to make my early Divine Orbs in the upcoming Path of Exile Trial of the Ancestors League. I am a guy who likes to play the game and not be a Hideout Warrior. I know trading and flipping is one of the best ways to make currency, but I’m just not that guy.

Let’s start with the beginning. During the Act, we use our first couple of Chaos Orbs we dropped to buy ourselves the Hrimsorrow unique gloves and the Mark of Submission unique ring. Both of these help out are built a lot and should be a priority purchase.

How To Make Early Currency At The Start Of POE 3.22 Trial Of The Ancestors League? - My Plans

After level 60, we start gathering rare items for the Chaos Recipe, unidentified rares. If you sell to a vendor one of each armor piece, a jewelry, and a two-handed a two-handed or two one-handed weapons, you will receive two Chaos Orbs from the vendor.

I tend to do this Chaos Recipe all day one of the league until I get into late Yellow Maps or until a Divine Orb just costs more than 100 Chaos Orbs.

After we reach Maps, we start progressing our Atlas. After we are done with all our Yellow Maps, we should be at 71 at this completion. So, that means all our Expedition nodes should be allocated and we should start pumping out POE Currency.

If you feel your Red Maps are too hard at any time,  just take a step back and run Tier 10 maps for a bit. This should help you get some levels in currency to get a couple of upgrades and make your life in Red Maps a lot easier.

If you do all the Expeditions you find in Maps, you will drop a lot of Logbooks. You can sell this for some Chaos Orbs or do them for those Expedition currencies.

This league, I will try to do Logbooks at the beginning, especially the Rog and Tujen ones. With Rog, you can get some nice crafts for yourselves or to sell. And with Tujen, you get a lot of gum currency and maybe some Divine Orbs here and there.

After we have completed the Atlas and got all our Watchstones, it is time to respect our Atlas for some Alch & Go mapping. I have two variants for this: the one with Harbinger and the one with Breach. If you find yourself dying a lot of harpies, you can go to the Breach one.

We still want XP in this phase to reach that level 95 or 96 sweet spot.

As a map of choice for this Atlas Tree, I think it will be Cemetery or any other open map with a couple of good Divination Cards. By this time, we will figure out how good are the Logbooks and might alternate this Alch & Go mapping with Logbook running.

This is also a good time to start building up the map base for whatever. We will want to go into medium investment mapping and Magic Find.

In the end, I want to give you a quick tip: Don’t forget about Sextant rolling! It is usually a very good way to make some Divine Orbs early league.

My League Start For Atlas Tree In POE 3.22 - A Strategy Including 7 Parts

Aug 16 ,2023

Fellow Exiles, today I’d like to share with you my league start Atlas strategy. This is a very basic strategy made by myself. It includes 7 parts from early mapping to the endgame.

1. Labyrinth

Part 1 will go straight to the Labyrinth

Improve versions of Offering to the Goddess will guarantee far when we solving the Atlas.

2. Kirac / Maps / Stream of Consciousness

Part 2 will be Kirac, Maps and Stream of Consciousness

First, I will go to Stream of Consciousness. The Keystone improves the chance to contain extra content. It’s a very good Keystone on early mapping.

Second will be Kirac. Kirac Missions help us to solve the Atlas and also some map content, Labyrinth Trails. It will help a lot on early mapping.

Third will be Maps.

3. Essence

Part 3 will be all Essence nodes.

The highest tier Essence can be found on a low tier map and Essence is always the meta of crafting.

My League Start For Atlas Tree In POE 3.22 - A Strategy Including 7 Parts

4. Expedition / New Harvest Keystone Test

In part 4, I will try the new Keystone Extreme Archeology and Crop Rotations.

I’m not a big fan of Expeditions. Planting boom is so annoying for me. But, now we can just simply drop a big boom. I will give it a try in this league.

Of course, Expeditions in your Maps have a 90% increased chance to be led by Tujen. Tujen’s POE Currency is the most valuable in the early league and I will spend 5 points to try the new Keystone of Harvest.

I don’t totally understand how it works. In my guess, when we pick a different color plants, it will get a chance to upgrade the tier of all plants? I’m not sure about that yet. So, let’s see.

5. Blocking Contents / Harvest

Part 5 will be Blocking and Harvest node.

If Expeditions and Harvests are working well, I will go into blocking all other contents and take the rest of the Harvest nodes. Because our plant will be tier one, anyway. So, I will ignore this cluster.

6. Refund & Get Eater of World

Part 6 will be the Eater of World. We probably done the lab and the most of the map in these situations. So, we can refund Kirac and Labyrinth and get Eater of the World.

7.1 More Expedition & Harvest Chance

Part 7 will be Guardians, Conquerors, and synthesis map drop chance or we can increase the chance to contain Harvests and Expeditions, depending how often we found Expeditions and Harvests in the map.

Because our maps containing Harvest, the Guardians, Conquerors, and synthesis map drop chance will not be fully effective.

In this case, we can increase the chance to contain Harvest and Expeditions on our map. Because we drop 1 bomb on an Expedition encounter. So, Expedition basically won’t slow our map run so badly.

But we have to spend more time to complete the Harvest content. So, in this case, our map run speed is slowing down and the Guardians, Conquerors, and synthesis map drop chance will not be fully effective.

7.2 StrongBox & Guardians, Conquerors And Synthesis Map Drop

So, let’s say Harvest new Keystone is not working well. I will switch to Strongbox. Strongbox chance is already buffed from extra contents we block and Strongbox will not slow our mapping speed.

This is also the main concept of this strategy. The faster we finish the map, the more Guardians, Conquerors and synthesis map drop more Streaming Invitation drop and more Essence drop.

Crafting Is Pretty Good In POE 3.21 Crucible League!

May 23 ,2023

The Crucible mechanic is kind of rough from a UX perspective. But in terms of how much power you can get from these passive trees, it’s OP.

Probably, some of the biggest power trick we’ve seen in a long time. Now, there are some build archetypes that are able to abuse it way harder than others. But almost all builds can take advantage of at least something really strong.

Some OP Interactions

Here are some examples of a few of the cute interactions between Crucible Trees and certain mechanics. Some items have pretty insane percent scaling on them to make their numbers more competitive.

For example, Emperor’s Vigilance is the best in the slot for crit shield skills at least damage wise. Its space stats are pretty low, so it gets a thousand percent increased armor and energy shield. That’s a 10 times multiplier.

Now, if you were to say at a local flat, 40 ES roll from the Crucible Tree times 10. That’s an extra 400 ES on the item. That’s more than doubling. It’s ES. That means for shield skills, you’re getting like over 11 base crit and like 300 crit multi just from Seething Fury. Not to mention you can also get a Phantasmal gem and some extra quality to make it insane.

I think you can also get like 150 flat armor, which almost doubles the flat damage you would get from the shield. But I’m pretty sure that takes the same slot as the ES on the Crucible Tree. So, you’re going to have to figure out which one would be better.

Crafting Is Pretty Good In POE 3.21 Crucible League!

Another very notable interaction you get is for attribute stacking both in the traditional way and for Omni. Like the recombinators from Sentinel League, there are special mods you can get from combining Crucible Trees, which I will go over in more depth later. But the relevant ones here are these attribute stacking ones, which are insane damage boost for these builds.

There are also a lot of passives that just straight up to give you a lot of attributes. Some of which will give you like 120 of a single stat with the drawback of gaining no inherent bonuses from the attribute.

Now, this is a pretty big detriment for like strength and instacking builds because they usually get really large life and ES pulls from stacking so much of the attribute.

However, that doesn’t really apply to Crystallised Omniscience builds since your attributes are all converted to Omni. You have nothing to gain from the inherent bonuses, anyway. In addition, there are some really strong passives that require you to have an attribute below 100. You can build around these normally, but you’re probably going to miss out on some gem levels, depending on your build.

However, Omni is again converting all your attributes, anyway. So, you don’t even need to worry about this drawback. These are just some of the real OP things you can do. I’m sure there is plenty more to discover as the league goes on. But even for the average use case, you can get some pretty strong stuff with very little effort.

Here is an 8.5 crit 900 Elemental DPS bow I made for, like, 70 Chaos Orbs. I just bought a base, threw some Essences at it and put it in the Crucible. It’s worth noting that the passives granted by the Crucible Tree add local stats to the item. So, stuff like flat damage, crit, and attack speed can be really strong.

Now initially, I didn’t get anything good on the tree. But here’s where the tree merging comes in. I bought another bow using my POE Currency with a passive tree that had stuff that was good for my build. The stats and base type don’t matter.

Then, I essentially just grafted the good tree onto my original bow with a Primeval Remnant, which comes from cracking open Igneous Geodes. Now, I’m not 100% sure of all the merging mechanics as of right now. So, take what I say with a grain of salt.

But, I’m pretty sure passives will keep their positions when merging. So keep that in mind if you want to replace a certain passive or maybe if you want to keep something specific. Also, I’m not sure if having the passives allocated will increase your chance to keep them. That’s what I’m hearing from other people. But I’m doing it anyway, just in case.

Now, in theory, you can keep merging trees until you get something you’re happy with. By doing this, you can easily turn a good item into something very usable in the endgame.

POE 3.21: A Complete Guide On Caustic Arrow MF Champion Build

May 22 ,2023

Many people want to play this build, but they don’t know how much POE Currency they need to get it started. So, I’m going to show you what items it requires and their current prices.

I’m not a PoB expert, so I won’t be talking numbers. My build is a Caustic Arrow MF Champion. Why champion? Because I started as Explosive Arrow and I didn’t want to level another character. It’s that simple. You can also play this build on Pathfinder if you want more damage over time.

This is my passive skill tree. For the ascendancy nodes, I took Fortitude, Conqueror, and Inspirational. We are in the dexterity part of the tree, so we need to compensate for Strength and Intelligence. Keep that in mind.

My Abyss Jewels make me immune to Bleeding and Corrupted Blood. They were very cheap and only need one Divine Orb each. But there aren’t many like this in the market. You will need an unnatural instinct, which is only three Divine Orbs at the moment.

Next, you will need a Watcher’s Eye with Phasing while using Haste and DoT Multi-Malevolence. This is about 15 Divines. You don’t necessarily need Vitality, but I got one for a good price.

On the clusters beside the passives that I took, you should try to get all attributes or Intelligence and Strength. On the small clusters, you don’t have to get 35% increased effect if you don’t have Purity of Elements. But you will need more defined aspect and Frantic Aspect and of course some Strength and Intelligence. You will need at least 155 of each attribute to make it work. The clusters will cost you about 5 Divines if you don’t want to craft them yourself. So, in total for Jewels, you will have to spend about 25 Divines.

Now, let’s do an outfit check. I use Wyrmsign gloves with this pair on heat that gives me rampage and reduced Mana cost for every Endurance Charge, which is 10c. I use Coldwyrm boots with plus one Endurance Charge and 20 Quantity, which are 20c. I use Deresso’s Defiance with increased damage implicit. But you can take one without the implicit for 1.5 Divines.

For a helmet, I use a Rarity and Mana efficiency one. But you can use any helmet as long as you don’t run the Purity of Elements. And I don’t recommend running it if you want to play the budget version of this build. So, the helmet shouldn’t cost more than one Divine.

For the quiver, you should get a DoT Multi with damage with both skills and you can craft a good one yourself, using the Harvest Bench Chaos Reforge with one to three divines. The amulet I used was very expensive. But you don’t need a plus 2 amulet to start. You just need plus 1 to all skill gems, attributes, and Aspect of the Spider. Maybe you can get one for less than 10 Divines.

I use Ventor’s Gamble with the Jeweller’s Touch. But you can take two rings with seven or eight quantities for only one Divine each. Make sure you cap your resistances. If you cannot afford the Mageblood, you can use a Stygian Vise, which will fix your attributes easier and you can get another a bit Jewel. On the bow, you need plus one of socketed gems and DoT multi. A similar bow to mine is under 10 Divines, but without the Crucible Tree.

On the tree, I have plus 1 to dexterity gems. Avatar of the Hunt increased skills damage modifier and an additional projectile to Caustic Arrow. Gem links on the bow are in power level 4 or 5 if you can afford it. A level 4 is 3 Divines. Val Caustic Arrow 2120, which you can obtain by yourself corrupting Costly Curio 2020 in the temple. That is about 10 Divines. Awakened Arrow Nova 520 is about one Divine. Awakened Vicious Projectiles 520 is 90 Chaos. Awakened Void Manipulation 520 is 90 Chaos as well. Awakened Swift Affliction 520 is 120 Chaos.

Then, if you go for Purity of Elements, you will need level 4 Enlightened Support, otherwise, you don’t. Malevolence and Val Haste are cheap. On the chest, you don’t need Enlighten for the budget version. You can use a Toxic Rain setup, which is very cheap, or use my other linked gems. Don’t forget about Petrified Blood, which is cheap as well. Use Immortal Call on your left click, so it activates every time.

You don’t really need Withering Step. I just wanted to fill another gem slot. I also use Vitality with Arrogance because of my Watcher’s Eye. You don’t really need it. I use Flame Dash and Defiance Banner and the Portal with Cast On Death.

So, the total cost of the budget version is about 65 Divines. If you play the budget version of this, you will probably die a lot. So, you might not enjoy. Do not invest everything in this build and expect it to be immortal. It’s just a fun MF build and I really enjoy the playstyle.
