What Is The Best Way To Utilize Trivela Shots In EA FC 24?

Apr 02 ,2024

In the world of soccer, a Trivela Shot stands out as a technique involving the curling of the ball using the outer part of the foot. In EA FC 24, mastering this move entails proper player positioning, honing aiming skills, and executing a specific key combination.

This comprehensive guide aims to instruct you on executing a Trivela Shot effectively, thus enhancing your goal-scoring capabilities. Of course, if you want to win more games easily, it is also necessary to invest a certain amount of FC 24 Coins in your players.

Keep in mind that the keybindings may differ depending on the control configuration you’re using, with this guide focusing on EA FC 24’s Classic (or Default) settings.

What Is The Best Way To Utilize Trivela Shots In EA FC 24?

Steps To Perform A Trivela Shot In EA FC 24

To execute a Trivela Shot in EA FC 24, follow this formula: on PlayStation, press L2 + Circle, and on Xbox, press LT + B

Ensure that your player is aligned with the opposite post and simultaneously press the shot button while holding down the left trigger. Note that for right-footed players, align them with the left post, and for left-footed players, align them with the right post.

A player executes a trivela shot, which is typified by a curling trajectory, by striking the ball with the outside of their dominant foot. A player's foot must be positioned correctly to line up with the intended direction of the shot. If you don't, your shot can seem standard or fancy.

During a free kick, execute a Trivela Shot by positioning the player on the opposite side of the ball relative to their dominant foot. Then, adjust the curl indicator on the ball to the opposite flank using the left joystick.

How To Take The Ideal Trivela Shot Position?

For optimal execution of a Trivela Shot, positioning yourself along the sides of the penalty box is key.

By positioning away from the penalty arc and facing an open space, while aligning with either the right or left post, you enhance your chances of successfully scoring a goal with a curling shot.

The 4-3-2-1 formation presents ample opportunities for Trivela Shots, particularly with LW and RW (Left Wing & Right Wing) supporting the Striker. In this configuration, the Back Wings create opportunities for the offensive Wings to attempt curling shots, while the Striker stands ready to capitalize on any potential rebounds.

To maximize your chances, consider maneuvering your LW and RW towards the corners of the penalty box, further optimizing the formation for executing Trivela Shots.

Advice On How To Score With Trivela Shots

To improve your accuracy with curling shots, consider the following tips:

Select a player with the Trivela PlayStyle, especially if they possess Trivela+ capabilities. This enhances the likelihood of executing precise shots with curl.

Be mindful of the Goalkeeper’s positioning, as skilled opponents may strategically adjust their goalkeeper to counter Trivela attempts. Ensure the Goalkeeper remains stationary before initiating the curling shot.

Employ shot cancellation when facing potential blocks. Press the X button (A on Xbox) to cancel the shot if it’s likely to be blocked. This creates a fake shot that can deceive the opposing defense and create openings.

Avoid excessive power when executing curling shots. When near the box, utilizing three or three and a half bars of shot power is typically adequate. Exceeding this threshold often leads to missed shots.

How To Score More Goals In EA FC 24? - 4 Tips

Jan 02 ,2024

In this guide, I am going to show you tips to do to score more goals in FC 24. And by implementing these techniques, you will be scoring goals for fun in FC 24.

Of course, if you have enough FC 24 Coins, you can also better build your team. This way you can win more games easily!

How To Score More Goals In EA FC 24? - 4 Tips

Tip 1: Ball Roll

You may think, "How is a skill move going to make me score more goals?" But let me tell you, the Ball Roll is a game-changer when it comes to scoring goals.

By performing a Ball Roll before shooting, you can create an amazing angle, and most of the time, the ball will go flying in. It also helps against people who move their Goalkeepers, as it gives you more time to choose where to shoot.

Tip 2: Taking Advantage Of Playstyles

Playstyles are a new feature in this game, and for this guide, I will be focusing on the shooting playstyles. These are the Trivela, Finesse Shot, Power Shot, Chip Shot, and the Acrobatic Playstyles

I see so many players that don't use the shooting playstyles to their advantage. These playstyles can make a big difference in a tight game.

You need to take advantage of this and know what playstyles your players have to use your gain. For example, here, the Trivela + playstyle. My player has it, so I take full advantage of it and use it as much as possible. That way, you can maximize that player and score more goals in FC 24.

That is where the Ball Roll comes in, as it creates these amazing angles to use the playstyle. There will be some places where using the playstyle of that player is pretty useless, like the Chip Shot playstyle from 40 yards out. So, you need to find the balance, timing, and the correct execution.

You can also one-up this with one of the best mechanics in the game.

Tip 3: Timed Finishing

This mechanism, when done properly, can increase the number of goals you score in FC 24. There are 2 ways you can learn to time finish, each with their advantages and disadvantages.

You can either do it the beginner way. Go to the 'Trainer' tab in-game and turn on the Timed Finishing mechanism. A bar should now appear on top of your player. It will only appear when you shoot a ball, and there should be 3 to 4 colors. This will help you judge when to press the shoot button again to time finish your shot. This is useful as you know when to press shoot again, but you will become too used to looking at the bar above your player, losing concentration on players on the pitch. This is a technique I suggest not to follow unless you feel more comfortable doing it this way.

Tip 4: Green Time

The other technique is how I learned to Green Time all my shots and how most pro players and other fellow YouTubers learned to Green Time.

You do this by learning the muscle reflex. This is so it becomes automatic when you shoot, guaranteeing more successful Green Time shots.

The way I did this is by hopping into Squad Battles, putting the settings to beginner, and just practice and repeat. For some players, it will take around 3 to 5 games to get a hang of it. For some, it will take longer. But the more you practice, the easier it will become, and the more successful you will be in FC 24 in scoring more goals.

I don't know how, but it took me 2 Squad Battle games. And I knew how to Green Time every shot, from Volleys to Power Shots, from Trivelas to Headers

I quickly learned the mechanics of Timed Finishing. I don't expect the same from you, as, like I said, it will be different for different players. But the more you practice, the easier it will become. And once you get that muscle reflex, you will know, and trust me, you will score for fun.
